queen of de’ band.

"Queen of de' Band" follows a blackbelly sheep who just wants to party in the Kadooment festival. But, being a sheep means he cannot partake in the parade. In a twist of events, the sheep goes on an unforeseen adventure to become the queen of the party band!

This short film was the culmination of my studies as a Computer Animation student at Ringling College of Art & Design. As a solo filmmaker, I navigated the entire pipeline, from storyboard all the way up to final render. This project is close to my heart as it functions as a love letter to my home, Barbados!
